Business & Marketing

My career has been built around leadership, marketing, communications, and organizational growth. Since 2005, I have worked across entertainment, corporate operations, motorsports, media, and manufacturing, helping businesses and teams strengthen their brands, improve performance, and connect with their audiences.

I began my career in the entertainment industry, spending fifteen years in operations, marketing, employee development, and guest experience roles. During that time, I also worked with the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA), supporting digital content, public relations, event operations, and audience engagement.

In 2015, I founded Appeal 5 LLC, a marketing and consulting company focused on content creation, communications strategy, and brand development. My work later expanded into corporate leadership at CorVel Corporation, where I managed national account implementations and training programs for organizations including American Airlines, Bank of America, Miami-Dade County, the State of Wyoming, and the WNBA.

In 2020, I launched RacingRefresh.com, a motorsports media outlet that grew to more than one million annual readers and over 3.5 million organic social media impressions. Leading a team of writers across North America strengthened my experience in leadership, media operations, and audience development.

My work in motorsports led to John Force Racing, where I served in communications and media relations roles while supporting one of the most successful organizations in professional racing. The experience provided national-level exposure to public relations, sponsorship activation, content strategy, and event operations.

Today, I serve as Director of Marketing and Brand Development for Farber Specialty Vehicles, where I lead marketing strategy, public relations, digital initiatives, and brand development efforts for one of the nation's leading specialty vehicle manufacturers. I also operate First Alert Sports, providing communications and marketing consulting to professional sports organizations, teams, and media outlets.

Across every role, my focus has remained the same: building strong teams, creating effective communication strategies, and delivering measurable results.

Notable Experience

Over the course of my career, I have been fortunate to collaborate with a wide range of organizations, public figures, business leaders, athletes, educators, and nonprofit advocates whose work has made an impact far beyond their respective industries.

I have had the privilege of working alongside notable individuals including NHRA legend and 16-time World Champion John Force, land developer Chris Armstrong, filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, NASCAR track owner Jeff Nuckles, Frontier League Baseball Hall of Famer Kevin Rouch, and producer Jackie Murphy. Each offered a unique perspective on leadership, innovation, and the value of building meaningful connections.

My work has published in Drag Illustrated, IHRA Drag Review, Jayski.com, AOL, Yahoo, and MSN and I have been featured on-air in the Greater Columbus market on television at WSYX ABC 6, WBNS 10TV, WTTE Fox 28, WCMH NBC 4, and on radio with WNCI 97.9, and QFM96.

Along the way, I have had the opportunity to interview and learn from influential voices in business and sports, including former McDonald's CEO Ed Rensi, former Sprint Nextel CEO Dan Hesse, author Dr. Ande Baker, NASCAR veterans Bill Lester, Bobby Labonte, Kenny Wallace, and Michael Waltrip, as well as motorsports icons Mario Andretti and Hélio Castroneves.

These experiences have allowed me to witness leadership, perseverance, creativity, and excellence from a front-row seat. They have shaped my perspective, expanded my professional network, and reinforced the belief that some of the most valuable lessons come not from titles or achievements, but from the people we meet and the stories we are privileged to share.
